AXED: Nicky Eaden left Kettering Town this week

CHAIRMAN Dave Mahoney says it is reassuring the vacant Kettering Town manager’s job has proved to be a sought-after position as they search for a new boss.
Nicky Eaden was axed on Wednesday following their shock 2-1 defeat to Step 4 side Sutton Coldfield Town after a replay with the Poppies third from bottom in National League North.
Eaden, the former Hednesford Town and Nuneaton Borough manager, took over in the summer after the surprise resignation of Marcus Law, who had guided the club to promotion.
