OXFORD City booked their place in the fourth round qualifying of the FA Cup for the third consecutive season as they beat fellow National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough at Marsh Lane.
The first-half failed to really ignite and the sides went into the break level.
However, the Beavers almost broke the deadlock three minutes before the interval as Charlie Wassmer’s cross saw Tyrone Lewthwaite head goalwards, but his effort was blocked on the line by Josh Ashby.
