OLIVER DENNETT ensured ten-man Poole progressed in the cup at the Campus Society Stadium.
Marvin Brooks calmly passed Luke Holmes’ low cross into the bottom right corner after 13 minutes to kick off the win. But with 34 minutes gone, provider turned perpetrator when Holmes received a straight red for a reckless lunge on Nathan Daly.
After a uphill battle from there on it, Dennett sealed it for Poole in the 84th minute with a right-footed rebound from close range.
