PEARSON BACKS KEATES RETURN

WREXHAM say they hope to appoint their new manager this week with former Reds boss Dean Keates emerging as the bookies’ favourite for the job.
The Dragons are looking for their sixth new manager in just 18 months after Bryan Hughes was sacked last week with the proud club languishing down in the National League relegation places.
Keates is the frontrunner to return to the Racecourse Ground having left the club in March 2018, with Wrexham in the play-off places, to take his dream job at hometown club Walsall.
