Saltmen too tasty for ailing Alport

TWO second-half goals from Jordan Cox gave Droitwich Spa a memorable victory over their higher-ranked opponents.
Neither side had ever played in this round of the Vase before and it was the Saltmen who progressed after dominating the second period.
It was a tight and tetchy opening, with Droitwich skipper Matthew Hunt and Whitchurch’s Blake Robinson both going close. Referee Ian Butler dished out three yellow cards as tempers boiled over.
