LOWER BRECK stunned their higher- ranked hosts, storming into a five-goal lead before Charnock Richard grabbed two late consolation efforts.
The North West Counties Division One North leaders took just two minutes to open the scoring when a free-kick from Paul Mooney on the edge of the box took a slight deflection off the wall to wrong-foot keeper Ben Ashcroft.
It was 2-0 midway through the half when some great work from Ste Milne on the flank saw him with room to cross and Mitchell Culshaw powered in to head home Breck’s second.
