A STUNNING early goal from Alfreton’s Bobby Johnson was the only highlight of a dour affair as Leamington slipped to a third consecutive home defeat in National League North.
Alfreton boss Billy Heath set his team up well and they were given a huge helping hand towards the three points by Johnson’s goal on eight minutes.
It was the first of few shots on target from either side over the course of the afternoon, but it was one to remember.
