BOTH SIDES finished with 10 men as Morpeth Town and Basford United shared the spoils at Craik Park, following a 1-1 draw.
Both sides started on the front foot, eager to open the scoring. However, Ben Harmison only gave the hosts the lead on the stroke of half-time, before the visitors levelled through James Reid’s 55th minute penalty.
Nathan Watson had an early opening, cutting inside and drilling a low shot straight at Dan Lowson in the Morpeth goal.
