SOUTH Shields’ eightmatch winning sequence was halted by resurgent Witton Albion who hadn’t savoured victory in their previous six outings. They were decisive victors too.
“My lads were brave and I thought we were brilliant, bright too, out of possession,” refl ected Albs manager Carl Macauley afterwards.
