BISHOP’S Stortford ended a run of fi ve defeats by knocking Horsham off the top of the table.
Veteran Jamie Cureton took solo charge of the Blues, after Steve Smith stepped down last week.
And the 40-plus striker was handed a winning start by fi nal-quarter goals from Jordan Chiedozie and Billy Mycroft-Edwards.
In the fi rst half, the Blues’ Shomari Barnwell and Mark Haines repeatedly went close from corners, while the Hornets’ Chris Smith volleyed over and Charlie Harris hit the post.
