IT MIGHT surprise people how many National League clubs use the train these days to travel to games at the other end of the country.
Many have taken to hitting the rail networks to avoid having to make overnight stays – saving money – as well as time on the motorway.
Unfortunately yesterday we saw what can happen when the trains come to a halt.
An incident at Milton Keynes meant Dagenham & Redbridge’s trip to Stockport County, Sutton’s haul to AFC Fylde and Dover’s long journey to Barrow couldn’t be completed. Bromley only just made it to Solihull Moo...
