POLICE PROBE AS PLAYER IS HURT IN BRAWL

A MAJOR investigation is underway following an ugly fracas at the end of last Saturday’s Southern Counties East Premier between game between leaders Beckenham Town and Tunbridge Wells.
At the end of the game watched by a crowd of 304, which visitors Beckenham won 2-1 thanks to a last-minute Ryan Hall penalty, it is alleged that a confrontation took place between which led to Tunbridge Wells striker Danny Powell sustaining a broken nose and two black eyes.
