THE JARROW MARCH IS OVER AFTER COMEBACK

A LATE comeback from Vauxhall Motors turned the game around and ended Jarrow’s historic campaign.
Greg Drummond’s drive from distance could have given Vauxhall the lead but a top save from Jak Wells denied him.
Jarrow took the lead shortly after when Liam McBryde got on the end of Glen Hargrave’s 16th-minute delivery to head home. Jarrow almost had two in quick succession when Kai Elliott’s header went narrowly wide.
Vauxhall could have equalised when Glenn Rule’s header beat Wells but hit the bar.
