VOLLEY GOOD SHOW FROM JOEL BOOSTS THE POPPIES

KETTERING Town picked up their first away league win of the season by edging out Guiseley – thanks to a Joel Carta double.
It meant it was a happy return for new Poppies boss Paul Cox, who was back at the club where he spent five months in charge in 2018.
The National League North top scorer Aaron Martin almost opened the scoring moments into the game for Guiseley, when his goal -bound header was well saved by Paul White.
Kettering had an even better chance with 20 minutes gone.
