DRIVER IRONS OUT EXIT REASONS

GLEN DRIVER says it was financial restrictions, and not criticism over his expansive playing style, which led to him standing down as manager of Braintree Town this week.
The former Leiston boss quit the Cressing Road club on Thursday morning after just five months at the helm having led the Iron to the cusp of the National League South play-off places.
