MATT Burton has made a swift return to management only a week after resigning from table- topping FC Oswestry Town.
Burton has moved up a step to join high-riding Premier side Whitchurch Alport as joint manager alongside Luke Goddard.
A statement from Whitchurch Alport said: “The club are delighted to announce Matt Burton has joined as joint-manager. Burts, who has had hugely successful times at clubs such as Haughmond and recently FC Oswestry Town, joins the management team as we look to build on a fantastic start to our league campaign.
