BOB WILLIS had a promising career in Non-League football – until a call to play in the Ashes got in the way.
The great England fast bowler – who died from cancer on Wednesday at the age of 70 – knew his chances of fame and fortune rested on cricket but he was a more than handy goalkeeper for Corinthian-Casuals.
