BELL TOLLS: Stockport County’s Nyal Bell fires in

THE standard of football, from both sides, in last Saturday’s derby between Stockport and Chorley was enjoyably very high.
Stockport’s first goal in particular was an outstanding team effort. Eighteen passes, involving eight players, with play switching from the right flank to left before Nyal Bell neatly converted the final cross.
Anyone who thinks there is a gulf in quality between the National League and Eflneeds to watch a few games – they may well be pleasantly surprised.
