Team of the Day? Bit of a Long shot!

SORRY Tony Smith, but Newark Flowserve were not the ‘Team of the Day’ in the last round of the FA Vase (Fans’ Forum, January 19).
True, the team has progressed considerably from when I saw them play at Thorne Colliery a decade or so ago, when any travelling supporters were not apparent, and is now a big hitter in terms of fan base and finance at Step 5 level, playing from the Midland League.
