FC UNITED remain six points off the top after a thriller.
The Red Rebels hit the post twice in the opening 25 minutes, but it would be the visitors who would open the scoring, when on 37 minutes Patrick Webb brilliantly took his chance to give Mickleover the lead.
This lead though would only last five minutes, when FC United scored the first of their three equalisers; Regan Linney’s shot from 25 yards out was parried by Nathan Broome, opportunist and Southport loanee Morgan Homson-Smith pounced to score. Mickleover retook the lead on 50 minutes...
