HENDON made it five straight league wins with a narrow victory over an in-form Yate Town. The match was always close and very interesting to watch albeit with little in the way of goalmouth activity.
After 12 minutes, Rihards Matrevics made a good low save from a glancing Joe Low header. What Yate didn’t have was a predatory striker, and in Joe White, Hendon had just that.
