DRUMM’S BIG NOISE

NORTH West Counties Premier League outfit Rylands have broken new ground by signing the first contracted player in their 109-year history.
Eighteen-year-old striker Kane Drummond was offered a contract after scoring 10 goals this season and several other clubs began showing an interest.
In recent weeks Drummond picked up five man-of-the-match awards in a row – after being nominated by opponents. Drummond said: “I’m really, really happy. It’s a big step for me and the club and I’m looking forward to it.
