CARDS’ TRAVEL WOE

TRAVEL plans to Eastleigh were thrown into chaos for Woking fans yesterday, who faced a 55-MILE diversion or a replacement bus service. A trip to the south coast is usually as straightforward as it comes for the Surrey side but supporters were forced to go the long way round. From Friday evening to tomorrow morning, the M27 is shut between junctions 3 and 4 (Romsey to Southampton) with a gruelling 55-mile diversion put in place as a result – longer than the journey itself would normally take.
