ON THE UP: Carlos Edwards has joined Isthmian North Bury Town

BOSS Ben Chenery reckons Carlos Edwards can be a big hit for Bury Town – at the age of 41.
The former Ipswich Town, Sunderland and Millwall midfielder has joined the BetVictor Isthmian North play-off chasers on dual registration terms from Eastern Counties League neighbours Woodbridge Town. Suffolk-based Edwards has spent two seasons at Woodbridge but has agreed a deal to step back up a level to assist Chenery with coaching, while also continuing his remarkable playing career.
