UNDERFIRE chairman Brian Henney categorically insists there is no racist culture on the terraces at Atherstone Town despite seeing the club’s manager, coach and secretary all quit over alleged abuse this week.
The Adders’ Midland League Division One fixture against Stafford Town was halted mid-game last Saturday after officials were made aware of reported racial abuse targeted at Stafford goalkeeper Samuel Amedu.
Manager Scott Rickards, assistant Mike Fowler and secretary Dave Turner all promptly resigned after the game.
