BURY’S SIGHTS SET ON STEP 6

THE new Bury AFC phoenix club are among 11 clubs who have applied to join the North West Counties League Step 6 divisions next season, it has been announced.
Bury were expelled from the Football League with £5 million debts last August after a takeover bid failed.
The ‘replacement’ club is one of two new sides applying to join the league, the other being FC Isle of Man, under new manager Chris Bass.
