‘THREATS’ RILE UP WATSON

YORK CITY boss Steve Watson has condemned the actions of a handful of fans who threatened their own players with violence following their shock 4-1 home defeat by Hereford on Tuesday night.
“These lads go out and do their best every day in training and in every match,” Watson blasted.
“Do they really deserve to be confronted outside the car park and threatened? Absolutely not.
“It’s really annoyed me but at the same time we are going to use it as a tool to drive forward.”
