COOK’S RECIPE HEATS UP CHIPPS

MIKE Cook has been handed the chance to lead Chippenham Town on a permanent basis after a successful spell in temporary charge. Cook took the reins in January after the Bluebirds sacked boss Mark Collier after six years in charge and he’s led the club to a midtable berth.
In their last outing before the coronavirus pandemic caused football to be halted, Chippenham drew 1-1 at home against league leaders Wealdstone last Saturday.
