THE home of Southern Counties East outfits Meridian VP and Bridon Ropes is offering its facilities and unlimited refreshments to medical staff working round the clock to treat the ill during the current health crisis.
Meridian Sports Club in Charlton Lane Park, the base of the Division One rivals, lies less than half a mile from Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich.
The club has thrown its doors open to NHS and emergency services staff who can show the appropriate pass, and has invited them to relax and unwind away the stress of dealing with the Covid-19 crisis.
