AXCELL’S TURN AT MALTBY

LOUIS Axcell has been given the job of managing Northern Counties East Premier Division side Maltby Main on a permanent basis.
In October, UEFA B qualified coach Axcell was promoted from assistant on an interim basis following the sacking of Scott Mason.
A club statement said: “The decision was backed by all the committee and more and is reward for a good record of wins and points we have picked up.
“We have only lost one away game since Louis started and have put ourselves in a healthier top seven spot looking up.”
