KELSEY GETS BIG CHANCE AT REC

SHANE Kelsey has been promoted to manager of Athersley Recreation from the start of next term.
Kelsey will step up from the playing squad to take over the reins from club founder Pete Goodlad, who has been acting as interim manager of the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division basement side.
Goodlad will revert to his duties as general manager, having run the side since former Garforth, Ossett Town and Parkgate manager Graham Nicholas quit at the start of the season after just one game in charge.
