PAUL DOSWELL PLANS FOR THE FUTURE

■ ENGLAND Blind Football head coach Jon Pugh has taken over the reins at Hellenic One West outfit Wellington.
Pugh has replaced former Cardiff City, Shrewsbury Town and Hereford United striker Gary Stevens, 65, who stepped down at the start of April.
Club chairman Phil Smith said that there had been several applications for the job, but Pugh, a former Disability Coach of the Year, fitted the bill.
“Jon brings to the club a wealth of experience and we are extremely pleased he has been chosen for this position,” Smith said.
