Credit successful clubs

THERE’S been a lot of controversy regarding the rather abrupt end to the season at Steps 3 to 7 and, to be fair, I think the clubs who have finished in the top places in their respective leagues have been harshly treated.
Fairer alternatives have been debated at length in The NLP recently but the decision is made.
May I, therefore, propose what I think is something original?
I suggest, for the 2020-21 season, clubs be awarded points as ‘credits’ based on success, or penalty point deductions for failure.
