LAST Sunday morning, Brian Phillips, stalwart Corinthian-Casuals vice- president and committee man, was busy doing his bit to help the club prepare for next season, painting the railings round the club’s ground at Tolworth.
Brian, age 73, had cycled the seven miles from his home in Sunbury-on- Thames, setting off at 4am because he “wanted be ahead of the cyclists” around Hampton Court.
