CHAIR TO LEAD NEW TRIO AT WELLING

WELLING Town chairman Kevin Oakes is to lead a three-pronged management team to replace outgoing manager Danny Wakeling.
Oakes will take dugout duties of the Southern Counties East Premier Division side – formed as a Sunday side just six years ago – alongside Tristan Cropley and Peter Gill.
Oakes explained: “Since the vacancy has become available we have been inundated with applications from far and wide with interest in the role which is very humbling. Some very capable people were interested in speaking with us.
