QUARTET REJECT A NEW DEAL AT POOLS

LUKE James, Mark Kitching, Josh Hawkes and Kenton Richardson have all turned down new deals at Hartlepool United.
Pools have significantly reduced their playing budget - thought to be in the region of £700,000 for the last campaign - ahead of next season and already boss Dave Challinor is finding it difficult to keep hold of his best players.
Versatile forward James has attracted some interest from Football League clubs and is weighing up his options, with Pools unable to play the waiting game.
