WEALDSTONE have been forced to put their championship celebrations on hold – due to the National League South trophy being locked in a jewellers! The Stones were planning to hold a title-winning party under strict Covid-19 guidelines for their supporters at Grosvenor Vale yesterday.
But they decided to cancel the event on Thursday after being told the previous night that the trophy wouldn’t be in attendance.
