LEAGUE CHIEFS DIDN’T WANT TO ADMIT NEW CLUBS

NEW clubs Bury AFC and FC Isle of Man have been formally placed in the Pyramid for next season - but against the wishes of their host league.
Fans club Bury AFC will play in the North West Counties League Division One North with the island side in Division One South.
But despite originally supporting their membership, officials told in a statement this week how they felt it was wrong to admit outside clubs with no promotion available from Step 7.
