POPPIES TALK TO STRIKER CRAIG…

KETTERING boss Paul Cox has confirmed he has spoken to former Scottish international striker Craig Mackail- Smith about a shock move to Latimer Park.
Fans who went to watch the new-look Poppies squad take part in an open training session last Saturday saw the 36-year-old former Wycombe, Peterborough, Brighton and Dagenham & Redbridge frontman at the ground along with his fatherin- law, Peterborough director of football Barry Fry.
And while it is far from being a done deal, manager Cox admitted discussions have taken place.
