EL-ABD’S HAWKS SWOOP

BRIGHTON legend Adam El-Abd says it was the desire to give something back to his local community which promoted him to sign for Whitehawk.
The 35-year-old has joined the Hawks from Stevenage as a player/assistant manager.
Having made over 300 appearances for Brighton, the former Egypt international is delighted to be staying close to home.
“I had offers from elsewhere, but I want to put something back into Brighton football and the local community as well as having a chance to develop my coaching skills,” El-Abd said. “I am looking forward to working with Jude Macdonald.&r...
