RETHINK OVER GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE REQUIRED

FOLLOWING the Government announcement that spectators are to be admitted to the World Snooker Championships in Sheffield this weekend, the FSA has today (Friday) written to Oliver Dowden (Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport) to ask that he reviews existing guidance for Non-League and women’s football.
Crowds at these matches are much lower than in the professional game and would act as a good testing ground for a broader return that the Government has said it’s aiming for in October.
