REECE STYCHE scored the winner in this entertaining pre-season fi xture at Liberty Way.
Tom Elliot put the Bucks ahead in the ninth minute after Tony Breeden failed to hold the ball, leaving the former Boro man an empty net to tap into.
Six minutes later, Ravi Shamsi scored his third goal in as many friendly matches, turning the ball past Tommy Taylor in the Buxton goal.
However, the second half failed to live up to the frenetic opening 45 minutes with both goalkeepers having a quiet half.
