FA CHIEFS PROBE ‘EXTREME’ RACE CLAIMS

THE FA has been investigating a claim that an “extreme racist comment” led to the abandonment of last Saturday’s Southern Counties East Premier Division game between Chatham Town and visitors Glebe.
The game at Maidstone Road was called off at half time with Chatham leading 2-1.
Glebe chairman Rocky McMillan said: “There was an alleged extreme racist comment made towards a member of my first team management in our SCEFL match. There will be no further comment until the case is heard.”
