And it clearly did the trick as the Midland League Premier League side - watched by the same army of loyal fans - bounced back to knock Eastwood CFC out of the FA Vase fi rst qualifying round 4-3 on penalties after drawing 3-3 in a much-improved performance.
Fams can now get ready for Selston’s second qulaifying round clash next Saturday - at Long Eaton United.
