WOKING chairman Rosemary Johnson is urging fans to contact their local MPs to press the case for the government to support National League clubs financially.
The Cards are one of the few part-time clubs at Step 1, along with Weymouth and Wealdstone, and aren’t in favour of the season starting unless a rescue package is forthcoming.
Johnson is concerned the vital message from Non-League sides could go unheard up against EFL and Premier League clubs.
