MICHAEL Nelson has urged his Blyth Spartans players to focus on being ready for day one of the National League North season.
Nelson is preparing for his first full season in management with the Croft Park club and his plans have been severely disrupted by the uncertainty over when the campaign will get underway.
Spartans have already experienced difficulty in rounding off their pre-season schedule after players and staff were forced into two-weeks of self-isolation when an individual at the club tested positive for Covid-19.
