ON MARCH 22, our front page headline read: We Need You! It was a plea to the British Government and the Premier League not to forget Non-League football in a time of imminent crisis as the coronavirus pandemic broke out and the game was shutdown.
Today’s front page could have the same words. In many ways, it is surprising more clubs haven’t fallen by the wayside during this hugely diffi cult period.
That more haven’t is testament to the clubs and the hard-working staff and volunteers who run them.
