THE NEW SAINTS’ hurt and heartache at seeing arch-rivals Connah’s Quay Nomads being awarded the JD Cymru Premier League title for the first time earlier in the year finally seems to have subsided.
Manager Scott Ruscoe has focused all his efforts, and those of his players, on the future – and regained the crown they held for the previous eight seasons.
Their latest victory, a 3-2 home win over Haverfordwest County, took them five points clear at the top after nine games.
