PITCHING IN Northern Premier League clubs FC United of Manchester, Scarborough Athletic and South Shields have reiterated their calls for vital financial support at Steps 3 and below.
While allowed limited crowds inside their grounds, those numbers fall significantly below the three clubs’ usual average attendances and they say it is threatening their futures.
The £10m lifeline received by National League clubs plugs their gap but, because they are allowed fans in grounds, no funds will be coming further down the system.
