A LATE goal by Altrincham substitute Jamie McDonald gave the visitors all three points.
Alty manager Phil Parkinson was understandably delighted with their result. He told The NLP: “It was a complete away performance. Apart from a 15-minute spell at the end of the first half we dominated the game and to get the goal at the end was very sweet.”
During a lively first half, the home side had a good chance early on when Piero Mingoia’s header was well saved by Tony Thompson in the Altrincham goal.
